Meet Thuy
Thuy is a compassionate and devoted family nurse practitioner. She is eager to contribute her expertise in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning to enhance patient care.
With a robust background spanning over 5 years in nursing, Thuy has provided attentive care to patients with various medical, surgical, and cardiovascular conditions within inpatient settings.
During her nurse practitioner training, Thuy completed 586 hours of clinical rotations, gaining valuable experience in internal medicine, women’s health, and pediatrics.
She has developed a proficiency in electronic medical record systems like eClinicalWorks and Care4, to ensure prompt and accurate charting to support efficient patient care.
Thuy is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, facilitating effective communication and understanding with a diverse range of patients.
Meet Susan
Susan is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) who focuses on patient centered care. She has worked in healthcare for 9 years as a Registered Nurse (RN) prior to embarking on her career as a nurse practitioner. She has previously worked as a RN in emergency and urgent care settings, orthopedic nursing care, inpatient care, outpatient surgery and in the post-anesthesia care unit for many years.
She is Orthopedic Nurse Certified by the Orthopedic Nurses Certification Board. Susan received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Susan is an active member of the Texas Nurses Practitioners, Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Susan is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and enjoys learning more about healthcare changes and improvements through continuing education courses. She is enthusiastic about conferences in improving patient care. She enjoys taking the time to provide patient education and with
emphasis on promoting health and wellness.
She has used various EMRs to include eClinicalWorks, Athena Health, Meditech, EPIC in providing
patient care.
Meet Shruti
Shruti is a caring and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Women’s University. With clinical experience across primary care, pediatrics, and women’s health, she gained hands-on experience in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of both acute and chronic conditions. She is passionate about promoting health and wellness through preventive care and patient education while offering evidence-based treatment.
Prior to becoming an FNP, Shruti worked as a Registered Nurse in the medical-surgical unit where she provided direct care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Urdu, Shruti offers the ability to connect with patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds, ensuring effective communication and understanding. She has used EMR systems such as Cerner, Practice Fusion, Tebra, and NextGen to document patient interactions and ensure accurate treatment plans. Shruti is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and is excited to contribute her knowledge & skills to a collaborative and patient-centered clinic environment.
Meet John
John comes from over three generations of healthcare practitioners in his family, midwives, doctors and nurses. From this broad perspective of family dinner table stories of the caring profession, he finds daily inspiration in caring holistically for each person using the most effective clinical practices individualized to each patient’s unique circumstance and needs, partnering and tailoring together the best plan of care.
As an acute care nurse practitioner, John began his career in high acuity hospital units. Because multi-organ systems were rapidly changing in the care of ICU patients, John learned how to quickly assess and prevent clinical deterioration when patients were hospitalized. This experience allowed him to see how vast areas of medicine such as heart, lung, and hormone functions can affect nerve pain perception in order to improve the health and well being of both patients and their families.
Conversant in Spanish, French, and Filipino, John appreciates the growing global shifts affecting healthcare in America as well as the world at large. He enjoys traveling with his wife and three children and has collaborated with healthcare professionals abroad.
John is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and is excited to contribute his knowledge and skills to an emerging era of advancing healthcare technologies in America and beyond.
